At Eglin Air Force Base stands the EOD Memorial Wall. This monument honors the EOD technicians who sacrificed their lives in the performance of their duties as far back as WWII. Every year, on the first Saturday in May, the EOD Memorial Ceremony is held to commemorate fallen EOD technicians to recognize and preserve the legacy of the service and sacrifices of our fallen warriors and their families.

I am an EOD wife. I was blessed to be part of the effort to identify and recognize the individuals through the recent EOD Flag Program. The EODWF honored these EOD Community Members. I have seen their names and know where they lay. Thank you for your service.
